We are seeking applications for students for the upcoming year 2026 field season in Forest Operations Engineering & Civil Engineering based out of our Prince George office. This is a great opportunity for students who are currently enrolled in or newly graduated from a forestry or civil technology related post-secondary program and looking to gain hands on experience. The ideal Candidate will work closely with our team of professional Foresters and Engineers.
Term- This is a four (4) months term position from May to August 2026.
Duties
Our students will assist in the following activities:
- Topography surveys with Total Station/RTK/Drone/Road Traversing;
- Construction Quality Control;
- Construction layout of bridges, roads, and other civil/structural works;
- C3D Autodesk and Microsoft Office products;
- Working with Digital Tablets and GIS linked software.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a forestry or civil related post-secondary program;
- Previous forestry or related co-op work terms is an asset but not required;
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with Resource Road experience will be an asset.
